Cub Uniform

Cubs wear core uniform of a coloured sweatshirt and a group scarf.

Uniform can either be bought from Scout Shops Ltd or from the scout hall Friday evenings from 7.15pm-8.30pm Term Time. You can ask the leader for more information on what and where to buy.

Scouting is a uniformed organisation. Cubs are expected to wear full uniform for Pack meetings, when arriving and departing from events and for parades. Occasionally uniform may not be appropriate and if this is the case you will always be told in advance. Cubs should take pride in their uniform and do their best to look smart.

Uniform consists of:

  • Green Cub Scout Jumper
  • Green Polo Shirt
  • Black/Grey Trousers
  • yellow and blue Scarf (provided by the Group)
  • Woggle (Provided by the Pack.)
  • Black School Shoes.

All items of uniform, including scarves and anything else that your child is likely to take off, must be clearly named.

We also do event uniform that can be purchased from your section leader on Monday or Thursday nights.

We don’t want anyone to miss out through financial hardship. If concerns about finances may prevent your child taking part in Scouting or some activities, speak to your local leader, as some assistance may be available in confidence.
